Washington-Tan n' Oregon-Tan

I saw the new Australia-tan release from Hidekaz for the Hetalia fandom and decided to try the style....and I failed. badly.

Anyway...for some reason I wanted to do state-tans. I know other people have aswell, but I tried to be original in my designs for them.
My states. Oregon Born, mostly Washington Raised. Two Similar states, but different enough to have pretty different feels to them.

Washington;
born 1889 42nd state. (nov 11) motto Alki (I'm naming him this aswell. You judge how it's said. i've heard 'Al-kee and Al-ki (as in Eye) Alki is a Native American word, which escapes me right now..But yes. The Northwest has many Native American groups and tribes.) WA is a boarder state, so we're totally bff with Canada. Known as the Evergreen State (though for somereason OR has the tree on their plates..)
State Bird and Flower; Gold Finch and Rhodedenron
Known for Starbucks, Nirvana (The Curt Cobain type), Rain, Space Needle, the Seahawks & Huskies and more rain.
Many people believe the Cap. is Seattle. No. It's Olympia.
(Forks Washington was recently featured in the book/movie Twilight. Yes it looks pretty much like that.)

Oregon;
Born 1849 33rd State (Feb 14th). Motto Alis Volat Propiis
Known as the Beaver State, much to most oregonians dismay. Oregon was discovered by Lewis and Clark (If you aren't counting the very long and rich Native American history), and there are many places in Oregon where you can still see historical trail sites that follow Lewis and Clark's journey West.
State bird and flower: Oregon Grape and Western Meadowlark
Most people believe the Cap. is Portland. No. It's Salem.
Known for Lewis and Clark, Mt. St. Helens (The Eruption that is.) the almost comically named teams 'Ducks and Beavers'. And probably more. But I'm not going to look it
up.

Most common phrase heard in either state west of the Cascades? "Grab a coat, look's like it's going to rain!"
...And 'only sissies use umbrellas'.

I own them and the design! However they were very very much inspired by various people in Hetalia.
